Fixed-Price Writing and Editing Packages
Sunny Words offers several cost-effective project packages designed to allow you to get expert assistance while sticking to a small, set budget. With the following packages, you receive the entire outlined project for one predetermined price. This bottom-line cost remains the same even if the particulars of your project are especially difficult.
For fixed-price packages, the following terms apply in addition to the regular Sunny Words terms.
- Completed work will be returned to client within one week of receipt of signed contract, client material, and 50% deposit.
- One revision, if client deems necessary, is included.
- At client's request, and if Sunny Words has required time available, additional revisions or other separately-priced add-ons may be included at time of package contract. That is, it will not be necessary to work out a separate contract for add-ons if client is aware of this need from the outset.

Web Copy Revision Package
What you provide:
- link(s) to your existing Web site(s)
- instruction regarding which pages are NOT to be revised (such as members-only areas, non-primary level pages, etc.)
- details about the type of revision you desire (ex: to reduce wordiness, to update content, to effectively include keywords, to edit for format and linking errors, to focus on a new audience, etc.)
- revise each page according to your stated purpose(s)
- thoroughly edit and proof copy
Copy that requires a total rewrite rather than a revision, or pages that are not yet drafted at all, does not qualify for this package. Those services are available only at the regular hourly rate.
Package cost: US$60 per site page
Press Release Package
What you provide:
- details about the product, service, or announcement you wish to publicize
- public contact information
- name of one print medium you wish to receive completed release
- hold a short consultation call (15-30 minutes) with you to determine your objectives and direction
- if indicated, schedule one or two short interview calls (10-15 minutes each) to obtain quotes or testimonials from one or two people you request
- completely write, edit, proofread, and format your press release
- research if necessary, and submit your press release to a traditional medium of your choice
- submit your press release electronically to three free online distribution services
- email you the completed release and any additional log-ins, responses, etc., created or collected during the submission process
Press releases are often misunderstood. An effective press release is one that announce newsworthy information. It is not a thinly-disguised advertisement or "puff piece" written in the form of a newspaper article. Press releases that are not newsworthy are ineffective for the client because they will not be picked up and reprinted by legitimate news sources.
If, during the consultation call, Sunny Words determines that client does not have a truly newsworthy event or announcement to publicize at this time, Sunny Words will elect not to offer the package as it will not result in useful publicity.

New Article Package
What you provide:
- details about the subject matter, length, and target audience of the article you want
- any applicable notes, links, or sources you want included
- any key words to be included
- all necessary print and online research
- ghostwrite, edit, and proofread your article of 300-800 words
- email the completed article to you
Included research is limited to free, publicly-available online and print sources. Research that requires phone work, public record searches, reprint or copy requests and/or charges, or other particularly intensive or time-consuming methods is not included in this package.

Article Rewriting Package
What you provide:
- old or unfinished draft of your article
- details about the new direction or changes you wish your article to have
- any key words to be included
- reorganize, detail, update, extend, condense, or otherwise improve and/or complete your draft
- completely edit and proofread the article
Sunny Words respects copyright and intellectual property law. Existing articles will be screened for plagiarism before work begins. If they are found to be the work of someone other than the client, or if client cannot provide proof of written permission to use the original author's work, contract will be canceled immediately.
Package cost: US$240
Article Submission Package
What you provide:
- one article file
- the names of up to three media you want to receive the submission
- account log-in information, as necessary
- if you have not specified any, research applicable media
- research submission requirements, as necessary
- format the article to fit each medium's requirements
- create new author accounts in your name, as necessary
- submit to three media, including the one(s) you requested
- provide you a report of submission progress

If they are found to be the work of someone other than the client, or if client cannot provide proof of written permission to use the original author's work, contract will be canceled immediately.

Brochure Copy Package
What you provide:
- information about the product or service you wish to publicize
- details about your target audience
- approximate layout details, or template of final brochure, to guide length and word count
- write appropriate copy
- edit copy to fit brochure, using
- fully proof copy
Package applies to rack card, two- or tri-fold brochure, or similar-sized promotional materials. Contact Sunny Words for an estimate for other promo materials.
Package cost: US$300
Blogwriting Package
What you provide:
- information about your blog's subject, purpose, product or service, and audience
- names of or links to products or services you want mentioned periodically or occasionally
- a list of pet or "hot button" subtopics to revisit/update regularly
- keep up with news in your field
- regularly submit new topics of interest for your approval
- research and ghostwrite blog posts on approved or ongoing topics
- edit all new posts to include links to other client posts, products, and Web pages wherever possible, appropriate, and tasteful
- also edit all new posts to integrate keywords or search terms the client requests wherever possible, appropriate, and tasteful
- fully proof all new posts
Short, pithy posts (100-200 words) may be appropriate for some audiences while longer, more detailed ones (~500 words) are better for others. Average post length will be determined during consultation call.

Weekly plan: 2 posts for US$100
Monthly plan: 10 posts for US$450
